Today Senator Lynwood Lewis endorsed Ramin Fatehi for Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney.
Senator Lewis is a lawyer who has represented Norfolk and the Eastern Shore of Virginia in the Senate since 2014 and in the House of Delegates since 2004.
“I am glad to endorse Ramin Fatehi to serve as Norfolk’s next Commonwealth’s Attorney,” said Lewis, “During my time representing Norfolk in the Virginia Senate I have seen how hard Ramin has worked to advocate for sensible changes to the criminal justice system that will make the system more fair not just for the citizens of Norfolk but for all Virginians. I am glad to support him, and I look forward to working with him in Norfolk and in Richmond in the future.”
“Norfolk’s citizens are fortunate to have Senator Lewis as their representative in Richmond,” said Fatehi, “I have followed Senator Lewis’s work for many years, and I am thankful to have his confidence and his support.”
Ramin Fatehi is a Norfolk resident and a Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Norfolk. He is seeking the Democratic nomination for Commonwealth’s Attorney. Primary day is June 8.
