Today Virginia Senator Lionell Spruill, Sr., announced his endorsement of Ramin Fatehi in the June 8, 2021, Democratic Primary for Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney.
Senator Spruill’s full statement is below:
“Ramin is the only candidate with a proven record of criminal justice reform. From his work on having Norfolk to be one of the first cities to decriminalize marijuana to his advocacy efforts on ending the death penalty and no cash bail, I have personally witnessed Ramin advocate for policies to make our criminal justice system in Virginia and fair and more equitable! Norfolk deserves a Commonwealth’s Attorney with a proven record of reform who will be fair and transparent.”
