This morning, Mark Herring, the Democratic Attorney General of Virginia from 2014 to 2021, endorsed Ramin Fatehi for re-election as Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney.
Fatehi says, “Mark was a champion for our rights in his eight years in office, and the work he did with us on marijuana decriminalization and legalization made a real difference in the lives of Norfolk’s citizens. I treasure Mark’s service to Virginia, and I will continue to serve the causes of public safety and criminal justice reform.”
Herring joins Congressman Bobby Scott and Speaker Don Scott as endorsers of Fatehi’s campaign. Primary day is June 17, with early voting beginning May 2.
